Question 1 of 4

Is this for a business or for your home?

We sell two steamers made for the home, across South Africa.

What do you spend the most time cleaning?

Pick the one you do most often, not the hardest one. A specialist will take the hard one with you afterwards.

What power do you have on site?

If you are not sure, say so. It is the most common answer, and a photo of the outside of your distribution board settles it later.

Do you ever work away from mains power?

For example on a farm, a building site, a boat or an outdoor yard.

Questions

Before you answer

How do I know if I have three-phase power?

The quickest tell is the main breaker in your distribution board: three-phase boards have three linked incoming breakers rather than one. Look with the cover on and don't open the board. If that means nothing to you, choose Not sure. A specialist will work it out with you when you speak, and it takes about a minute.

What if I choose the wrong steamer?

You won't be choosing on your own. A specialist with years of experience across different steamers takes you through the whole process, from the first question to the day it's working, and will tell you plainly if a steamer isn't right for your job.

Do I need a different steamer for each surface?

No. You need different accessories, and that is where most of the real difference lies. The tool on the end of the hose changes far more often than the steamer behind it.

Tell us what you are up against.

Rather talk it through? A specialist will take your site, what you clean and your power, and quote the steamer that suits it.
